So this Twitter friend of mine (https://twitter.com/timegirl4468) and a combination of Star Trek sort of inspire this post.
Lets say… you come across an alien.
If luck serves you right, they are a friendly specie…
They treat you nice… and you end up on the alien version of Larry King Live or Winfrey Oprah or the Jonathon Ross show, or Top Gear even.
So amidst the laughs… this creature turns to you and says…
So … Sami (enter your name here) … tell us about your species… what do you think sets your species apart…
What would you tell them?
Emotions? Would anybody who has never felt any (Vulcan for example) know what an emotion is?
Feelings?
Bodily desires?
Passion?
Intelligence?
Speech?
Physical attributes?
The urge to party and fight like crazy?
Addictions?
OCDs?
Aliens… they may have something we might consider super power… telepathic abilities for example… or even smarter brains, or ability to jump higher than buildings, or move fast, or perform welding miracles through their body heat.
What if they ask us for any super powers…
We do a lot of super human feats everyday, but is there anything we would consider to be a super power?
Our ability to swim, walk, think, talk, love, hate, any of these could be a super power to an alien specie…
What do you think… what would be your answer to them… ?

Believing that we have absolute control over ourselves and our environment and that we can modify our behavior or alter our environment to suit our needs...
we consider an ability a super power which we dont have. so you are considering an alien which have all the abilities means it is a super specie which will be a doubt full word. it will have an ability which we have and dont consider important might be and that one can be a super power for them while for us its usual. Intellectually speaking you are assuming to much and need a good rest and some "chapers" from anyone you like and yeah dont forget some jugtein from me :P

This post is trying to make me think... I don't like that!!
I think I'd say that our intelligence along with our ability to read emotions is a super power. Afterall, there's no one who can't say taht they haven't known at least once in their life that something was wrong with a loved one/ a friend even when they had no way of knowing it...
Oh and we can read expressions.Every living being has the same set of features, but will they interpret a slight eyebrow raise or a small twitch of the lips the same way? Nope. That's just us! We speak so many different languages in order to communicate! :-D
I think I could go on and on about how wonderful we all are.Lemme at some Alien Oprah!
wow... i didn beleev anythin else (based on all the alienistic shit i hav seen) but i think the fact that we speak so many languages whereas all other aliens only speak one does set us apart...
havin said that apparently animals do exhibit different lingual skills based on their location...
must be an 'earth' thing then :D
