Though I am posting this after the New Year's Post, this happened on the 30th of December, 2008. Sometime last year... lol!
So I was meeting a university friend of mine who was in England for a week or so. We sort of said our goodbyes on the Westminster Bridge around 8ish and I thought I will take a walk towards Embankment station along London Aquarium and London Eye. Thereabouts I came upon a sign of the Bridge walk, where you walk through the main bridges of London, starting from Westminster Bridge, going through the Golden Jubilee Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge, Southwark Bridge, Millennium Bridge, London Bridge, and ending on Tower Bridge! Tower Bridge is the famous bridge which is known to many people as London Bridge because of the famous school poem. However, London Bridge is a humble bridge compared to Tower Bridge! Tower Bridge is known so because it is located next to London Tower, the famous ancient prison of London.
Because of what went on in this place, it is famously haunted by many ghosts, poltergeists, and what not!
Once again it was around -2 degrees, which is about as cold as London gets, the path was frosty, and my hands frozen! I did, however, have the company of friend, through my phone.
All in all, it was an interesting walk! Up to Tower Bridge at least!
And hence, in true adventurous fashion, I got LOST !!! It was around 9-10 PM by then, and I had started off from the Tower Bridge (bottom corner of the picture), in search of an underground station. I managed to find my way to Tobacco Docks, till I finally managed to get to Shadwell Station (Upper Right Corner).
On getting to Euston finally, my train back home was cancelled, and had to wait for a later one. I got back around half 12 to MK only to find it full of fog and my car covered in frost. Too tired to complain, I grinned to myself, cleaned up the car... and headed home :D !!!
Including the morning breakfast, my meeting with the uni friend, and this adventure, I had had quite an interesting 24 hours!

Aww, that's so not fair! I wanna have an adventure and get lost on the streets of a big, bad city! No fair! Guys have all the fun. Sigh.

hmmm Uni friend...... now whom you will put it on. Dont say Ashique was their and all that who was "he/she". and good you have a little adventure I cant afford such adventures in Lahore or in Angola because they are not as safe as London (comparitevely but still i have some) but still good man :)
