I do not know how this statement ended up as my MSN (or lately… Windows Live) messenger, but it sounds cool and philosophical as well as a bit spooky. Geared up with me in shadows wearing a cowboy (Indiana Jones) hat, it works well as an image. But it also makes me wonder.

Am I encouraging my inner self to reveal its sinful side… or am I trying to get rid of my sinful side by freeing it…
What would you do if you were allowed to do one sin… something cute and innocent (it is still a sin if you steal a cute pony or run into Disneyland without paying for it… or steal diamonds for your dame or cotton candy…) or something dark and deadly?
Would you murder somebody? Would you steal something? Would you… lie perhaps? Would you cheat on somebody you love just for the thrill of it? Or … would you commit suicide? Greed is a sin… so is envy!
Looking at the latter side… what if you did manage to get rid of your inner sinner. What if there was no urge to commit a sin? What if you managed to kill the devil within you… How would life be? Would you turn into a bland creature who lives a nine to five job, comes home… cooks dinner, watches a bit of TV before retiring to bed? Or would you turn into an exciting helpful person who does all that is good in the world to do !!!
What would you rather have it mean? What would you rather do if you were allowed a sin? What sin would you happily get rid of if you suddenly had the power to?

If I could sin, I'd definetly be in for a relationship, minus the ACTUAL intimacy blah part..but like..it's still a sin to be in a relationship..i mean nah mahram..you can't hug or you know, cute thingsl ike that..so yeah..
That would be what I would do..
And if I actually freed my inner sinner, and didn't want to sin, I'd probably be and hopefully be working as a human rights lawyer and going on these aid missions and teaching trip things to Africa, Pakistan, etc.

Oh, I got a similar text msg that if for one day you sins are not counted and you don't get punished for them, what would you do? And the answer I gave had the sender hitting the roof!! :D TOTALLY destroyed my 'shareef larki' image and had her saying, "andhar itni hasrateen dabi hoiee hein! :P" hehehehehe....
but I have to agree not finding a decent partner in crime would take a lot of fun out of this sinning thing! :(
And I wouldn't like to get rid of the inner sinner, that would just be so borrriiinnngg....I mean, the whole existence of humans revolves around this warring between good and evil.
